The problem
The community existed in pickup games and Discord chatter, but nothing held it together: no fair way to draft balanced teams, no shared record of results or stats, no single place to see who was live.
The approach
Built the whole loop as one product — accounts and sign-in through Discord, a live draft lobby, tournament registration with position limits and a team-captain toggle, leaderboards and a player database on Supabase, and Twitch embeds so streams surface without leaving the site. Every part of it stays connected to where the community actually lives: a Discord bot I built keeps support tickets, self-service roles and league announcements in sync automatically, and the mobile build was made to feel like a real app rather than a website squeezed onto a phone.
What came out of it
- →92 registered players across 10 tournaments, with every game's stats tracked and searchable
- →Real prize-money tournaments running through self-serve registration
- →A 250+ member Discord community pulled into one connected hub — kept in sync automatically by a custom bot
On mobile
Built mobile-first, not shrunk down afterwards. A bottom app bar and top header that tuck away as you scroll, swipe-friendly tables, and a real "add to home screen" install — so on a phone it feels like an app you downloaded, not a website you're squinting at.
